Michael Ching
Michael Ching has over 20 years of experience in semiconductors and high-speed design with emphasis on technology solutions for high volume products. Before joining Analogix, he was at Rambus Inc. where he established and served as VP and Head of the Imaging Division. Previously, he managed strategic and product marketing of Rambus’ high-speed interface products and intellectual property portfolio in applications such as Intel and SiS PC Chipsets, Sony PlayStation2, PlayStation3, and HDTVs from Toshiba and Panasonic. He also held various positions in industry-infrastructure enabling and design engineering during his 18 year tenure at Rambus. Prior to Rambus, Michael designed video processors at Philips Semiconductors (now NXP) and high-speed I/Os for the Pentium II microprocessor at Intel Corporation.
Ching earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley. He also attended the Executive Education Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
